As Written for iOS
Support
If a fact in As Written is wrong, that is the most useful thing you can tell me. Everything below is how to say so, and what happens after you do.
Getting in touch
From inside the app is best. Open a fact and use the feedback option there, or go to Settings and choose to send feedback. Starting from a fact attaches that fact to your report, so I do not have to guess which one you meant.
By email, if the app will not open or you would rather not use the form: feedback@grahamcreates.com.
What happens next
Every submission gets a reference, and the app files a copy under Settings, so you have a record of what you sent. No reply arrives in the app. If you gave an email address, an answer goes there. If you left it blank the report is still read and still acted on, there is simply no way to write back.
This is one person, not a support desk, so a reply can take a few days. A correction with a source attached moves fastest, because it can be checked in a minute.
Questions that come up
A fact looks wrong to me
Please send it. Use the "This fact is wrong" category and say which part: the claim, the evidence behind it, or the reading of the passage. A published source to point at is worth more than anything else in the message. Corrections change the app; several facts have been rewritten because a reader pushed back.
Why does a tapped reference show the King James Version?
Licensing. Showing a passage on demand counts as quoting it, and the modern translations the app quotes come with a cap on how much of that text may appear across the whole app. One tap on a chapter reference could spend forty verses of the allowance. The King James is public domain, with no cap, so it can always be shown. Where the exact wording carries the argument, the quote is already in the fact itself, in the translation that fact names.
Why do different facts quote different translations?
Two reasons. Sometimes the fact is about how one edition renders a passage, so that edition is the one it quotes. Other times translations genuinely disagree about a contested reading, and the fact says so and names which versions go which way instead of quietly using the one that agrees. The mix is a licensing and accuracy decision, never a doctrinal signal. The About screen inside the app says the same.
How does the daily fact work?
Your device holds a shuffled queue of every fact and moves one step along it each day. Nothing repeats until you have seen all of them. If you are away for two weeks you come back to the next fact in your queue, not the one fourteen days along, because the point is that you see each one. The queue is yours: two people opening the app on the same morning will usually see different facts.
Does it work offline?
Entirely. Every fact and the full King James text are inside the app. Sending feedback is the only thing that needs a connection.
I lost my saved facts
Saved facts live on the device only. There is no account and no cloud sync, so deleting the app or moving to a new phone does not carry them across. Cross-device sync is on the list, not built.
